Blue Sky’s Ahead After Local Print Firm Merger

Black Country based printing firms Husselworks and Dudley Print have joined forces in a merger that will create a more efficient and streamlined operation.  The combined businesses, both of which have been operating for over two decades, will be able to offer a more comprehensive service to both existing and new clients, covering both short-run digital printing and the more complex, larger print processes and runs.  The new business will have its sales and administation offices in Halesowen and production facilities in Dudley.

The owners, James Barwell of Husselworks and Nic Beales of Dudley Print will be joint directors and shareholders pf the new business and hope in time to be in a position to expand the business even further.

Blue Sky Corporate Finance, which has worked with Husselworks for a number of years, worked with the directors of Husselworks and Dudley Print to put together a financial and tax structure agreeable to both parties, a review of the banking facilities and the financial systems to support the growth aspirations of the new business going forward.

Tony Seaton, Director, Blue Sky Corporate Fianance commented, “Dudley Print and Husselworks were well respected and long established organisations in their own right, and the merger of the two companies will further enhance the service they offer by creating a larger, more competitive and cost efficient company.  Blue Sky was able to advise them on a future financial structure to support their growth plans and assist in the amalgamation of their financial systems.”

Legal advice for the transaction was provied by Hawkins Hatton in Dudley
